Terms and Conditions of Sale

By using OutfitOcean ("OutfitOcean", "we", "us", "our") or purchasing products through our assisted buying and forwarding service, you ("Customer", "you", "your") agree to the terms and conditions below ("Terms").

1. Nature of Service

1.1 OutfitOcean provides an assisted purchasing and international forwarding service. This means:

  • You authorise us to purchase goods on your behalf from third-party retailers, suppliers, or marketplaces ("Third-Party Sellers").

  • We arrange for those goods to be shipped and delivered to your nominated address.

  • We are not the manufacturer, retailer, or original seller of the goods.

1.2 Accordingly, OutfitOcean:

  • Does not design, make, or warrant the products.

  • Offers no guarantees as to product quality, performance, compliance, or suitability for any specific use.

  • Is not responsible for any defect, warranty issue, recall, or misrepresentation by the Third-Party Seller.

1.3 Our role is limited to:

  • Executing your purchase and payment instructions accurately, and

  • Managing the logistics and delivery process.

2. Product Quality, Warranties and Liability

2.1 OutfitOcean makes no representation or warranty—express or implied—regarding the goods purchased, including their quality, performance, or conformity to description.

2.2 To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • OutfitOcean accepts no liability for loss, damage, injury, or costs arising from the use or quality of any goods purchased.

  • All product-related warranties and responsibilities rest with the Third-Party Seller or manufacturer.

2.3 Our liability is strictly limited to the scope of our assisted purchasing and forwarding service. In any case, it will not exceed the service fees you paid to OutfitOcean for the specific order concerned.

3. Refunds and Returns

3.1 As OutfitOcean is not the original seller:

  • We cannot process returns, exchanges, or product-related refunds.

  • Any product issues, warranty claims, or refunds must be directed to the relevant Third-Party Seller or manufacturer.

3.2 Refunds of our service fees will only be made where required by law or in the event of a verified service error on our part.

4. Orders, Payment and Title

4.1 Orders are executed strictly according to the details you provide. OutfitOcean is not responsible for issues arising from incomplete or inaccurate instructions.

4.2 Title and ownership of goods pass directly from the Third-Party Seller to you. OutfitOcean never takes ownership of the products.

4.3 If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you and arrange a refund for the product cost (excluding service fees already rendered).

4.4 All payments must be received in full before we can proceed with purchasing or shipment.

5. Delivery and Risk

5.1 Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. OutfitOcean cannot be held responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or other external factors.

5.2 Risk in the goods transfers to you once the shipment leaves the seller or is handed over to the courier.

5.3 It is your responsibility to ensure the accuracy of your delivery address. Any loss, delay, or cost due to incorrect details will be borne by you.

6. Customs, Duties and Import Taxes

6.1 For international deliveries, you are deemed the importer of record and are responsible for all import duties, taxes, clearance charges, and local compliance.

6.2 OutfitOcean does not collect or charge Goods and Services Tax (GST) on your behalf.

6.3 Customs or import charges are not included in our service fees and must be paid directly to the relevant authorities or carrier prior to delivery.

6.4 We are not responsible for customs delays, inspections, or any costs imposed by your country’s import authorities.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • OutfitOcean is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including loss of profit, revenue, or business opportunity).

  • Our responsibility is limited to reasonable care in performing the assisted purchase and delivery service.

  • Our total liability under any order shall not exceed the service fees paid for that order.

8. General Provisions

8.1 All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and exclude GST unless otherwise stated.

8.2 We reserve the right to cancel, decline, or amend orders due to suspected fraud, pricing errors, or product unavailability.

8.3 While we take care to maintain accurate information, website content and product listings may contain typographical or factual errors.

9. Disclaimer

OutfitOcean acts solely as your purchasing and logistics partner.
We are not the seller or manufacturer of goods.
We accept no responsibility for the quality, safety, legality, or performance of products sourced from Third-Party Sellers.
